• Java, Hadoop experience required, experience with R, JavaScript is a bonus
• Experience with (or a strong desire to use) the latest AI, machine learning, data mining, and network science algorithms
• Appreciation of good design and beautiful products
• Desire to stay abreast of the latest research in data mining
• BA, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Mining, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics

Responsibilities:  

• Explore massive amounts of user behavior data and real estate content data
• Brainstorm ideas for tools that communicate the most valuable insights of that data to Trulia users and real estate agents
• Engineer prototypes
• Market prototypes within the company
• Scale up prototypes to production
