Mailing list subscription

We have two mailing lists: SFBAYACMCHPTR for chapter members and SFBAYACMINFO for the general public. Both get send out simultaneously.

If you are a chapter member:

To Subscribe to the SFBAY ACM LISTSERV chapter list, send an e-mail to listserv@acm.org with the following text in the message body (not the “Subject” line):

Your e-mail address will be automatically obtained from the e-mail message and add you to the LISTSERV.

or remove yourself by un-subscribing:

unsubscribe SFBAYACMCHPTR your name
(Example: unsubscribe SFBAYACMCHPTR  Bill Jones)

Similar for the INFO list. Use this if you are not a chapter member:

Your e-mail address will be automatically obtained from the e-mail message and add you to the LISTSERV.

or remove yourself by un-subscribing:

(Example: unsubscribe SFBAYACMINFO Bill Jones)

You can also navigate to http://listserv.acm.org and use your email address to generate a password. You will be emailed a password and then you can edit your settings in a HTML interface.
